On the opening night of our Shavuot weekend,
the cameras rolled and the satellites hummed as Paul Wilbur
and Jimmie Black led believers across the nation in song.
Later that evening, Michael led everyone in Kiddush
(the memorial of the bread and wine), and I fulfilled a
desire that had been brewing in my heart for several years:
to teach the opening two chapters of one of the most exciting
books in the Hebrew scriptures The Acts of the (Jewish) Apostles.
